Draft system

Before every race, players draft their drivers using a snake format: picks alternate in turns, with the order flipping each round. The player furthest back in the standings picks first. For example, in a 4-player league:

Round 1: 4th → 3rd → 2nd → 1st
Round 2: 1st → 2nd → 3rd → 4th
Round 3: 4th → 3rd → 2nd → 1st

After 3 rounds, everyone has 3 drivers for the weekend.
Once you pick a driver, they're yours - no one else can take them. For the opening race, draft order is randomized since there are no standings yet.

In this example, Round 1 is complete: Snorlax picked VER, Satoru picked ALO, On Track picked RUS, and Vespino picked BEA. Now in Round 2, Vespino has already picked HAM. It's On Track's turn - his priority list below shows he wants LEC. When his time runs out, LEC will be automatically added to his team.

You can set or update your priority at any point by clicking "Set Driver Priority" and dragging the drivers, like this:

Here's how Driver Priority works:

  1. Before the draft begins, rank all drivers in your preferred order. As picks are made (e.g. Snorlax picks VER), those drivers are automatically removed from your list.

  2. When it's your turn to pick (e.g. Wednesday at 18:30), you'll automatically get the highest-ranked driver still on your list.

  3. You can rearrange your priority list at any time - especially useful once you see what your opponent is choosing!

Pick limits

Next to each driver is a number showing how many times you can still pick him this season. Every driver starts with 4 picks available. Each time you draft a driver, that number drops by one. Once it hits 0, that driver is no longer available to you.

By the end of the season, you'll have used nearly all your picks on every driver - so plan ahead! You can't always go for the top drivers. Consider your remaining picks and the choices of your opponent for this weekend.

On sprint weekends, your drafted drivers score points in both the sprint and the race. However, you can only pick each driver for one sprint weekend per season.

After the race, results are calculated automatically, here is an example:

In this case, Asphalt Rippers wins with 25 fantasy points, defeating Block Busters, who scores 14. Note that a team must score at least 7 fantasy points more than their opponent to win. In other words, if the difference in fantasy points between two opponent teams is 6 or less, then it is a tie. In this example, Main Aienai and Team Oktilio are only separated by 3 points, so they tie.

Breaking down the fantasy points in this example, Asphalt Rippers’ 25 points come from Leclerc, who earns 18 fantasy points for finishing 2nd and 1 point for being elected Driver of the Day, plus Russell, who adds 6 fantasy points for his 7th-place finish. After the 11th position, drivers start to accumulate negative points, making the initial auction for lower-tier drivers more important, as their positions can significantly impact your score.

Note the difference between points and fantasy points: fantasy points are based on your driver lineup performance on the track and determine the outcome of your match - whether you win, tie, or lose. The result of the match then decides whether you earn 3, 1, or 0 points in the overall ranking.

Fantasy point system

3 Fantasy point system

The fantasy point system is designed to be:

  1. Simple
It’s easy to calculate how many points your drivers are earning while watching the race.

  2. Representative
It reflects the driver’s real performance. Most fantasy points align with actual race points (e.g., 25 for a race victory).

  3. Balanced
Every position beyond the top 10 results in an additional negative point. This ensures that even bottom-half drivers play a key role in the draft—a driver who consistently scores between -8 and -10 can really hurt your performance!

Every driver gets points for qualifying, sprint, and race according to the following tables.

Additional rules

4 Additional rules

  1. In leagues of 8 or 10, each player drafts two drivers over two rounds: Thursday and Friday (or Wednesday and Thursday on sprint weekends). Each time slot lasts 30 minutes, starting at 17:30 for 8-player leagues and 17:00 for 10-player leagues. Each driver can only be picked 3 times per season (and only for one sprint throughout the season), meaning you'll exhaust most of your picks by season's end - so strategy is essential.

  2. If two or more teams are tied in points in the ranking, the following criteria are used to determine who ranks higher: fantasy points, victories, individual driver with most fantasy points.

  3. If a driver is replaced by another for one or more races (as happened in 2025 with Doohan for Colapinto), the pick count from the old driver transfers to the new one. The same applies if two drivers are swapped between satellite teams, like Lawson and Tsunoda in 2025.
